The “How” Collection
This collection began with a question I couldn’t answer: How?
These works became a visual processing of inner war and quiet reconciliation. Forgiveness is rarely “one and done”. It’s slow. It’s layered. It’s messy. It’s a long narrow road with twists and turns. Sometimes the person most in need of compassion is the one in the mirror. These paintings are glimpses into the forgiveness journey through grief, rage, sadness, brokenness, surrender, and ultimately, hope. They are my offering. A record of pain transfigured into light, one layer at a time.
How do you move forward? One foot in front of the other. Clinging to the light hope provides.
